Each Veteran in the grave means your chance to draw a land from the deck decreases and thus increases your chance of drawing better, stronger cards in the late game. Always remember this during the game and don't be afraid to search for it from Green Sun's Zenit even if you have a lot of mana.

Phyrexian Tower is a very underrated land. However, it is worth playing for several reasons.
